Bookings and Deposits:

To secure your appointment at Head South Hair a deposit is required at the time of booking. Pleaasdfsadote: 

  • A £50 deposit is required for all standard services.
  • Colour Transformation services require a £150 deposit due to the extended time and preparation required for the service.
  • Same-day cancellations or those made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the total service cost.
  • Your appointment is not confirmed under the deposit has been received.
  • The deposit can be redeemed on the day of your appointment and will be deducted from your final bill
  • Alternatively, you can choose to roll over your deposit to secure your next appointment.
 

All deposits are subject to our Cancellation and Re-Scheduling terms and conditions. 

By booking an appointment you agree to all our policies, terms and conditions. 

Pricing:

Any price communicated via email, text or by phone before your consultation/appointment is merely an estimate. We will provide you with an accurate quote of the service after your in-person consultation.

Additional services, products or treatments that you take during the service will be charged accordingly. 

 

Cancellations:

We understand that sometimes schedules change. However, to ensure fairness to our team to our team and other clients, we have the following cancellation policy in place. It gives us the opportunity to offer the slot to someone in our waiting list and minimises the disruption to our business and overall, our hair artists. 

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment will result in the loss of £50 deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will be have a charge of 50% of the total service cost. 
  • Same-day cancellations or those made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged 100% of the total service cost.
 

If we are close or don’t pick up the phone during the opening hours, please send us an email to contact@headsouthltd.co.uk whitin the cancellation policy timeframe. 

If you choose to rebook after cancelling, please note a new deposit will be required to secure your appointment.  

Late Arrivals:

We allow a 15-minute grace period for all appointments. If you arrive more than 15 mins late, we will do our best to accomodate you. However, if your late arrival disrupts significantly our stylits’ schedule your appointment may be cancelled. In this case the deposit will be forfeited and the full cost of the service will be required. 

 

Re-scheduling your appointment:

We understand that plans can change and we do our best to accomodate adjustments. However, to respect the time of our team and other clients the following re-scheduling policy applies:

  • You may re-schedule or make changes to your booking up to 72 hours before your appointment without any penalty.
  • Changes made within 72 hours of your appointment will result in the loss of your £50 deposit. 
  • Changes made within 48 hours of your appointment will require charge of 50% of the total service cost
  • Changes made within 24 hours or on the same day will require a 100% charge of the total service cost
 

What is considered a change: 

  • Changing the date or time of your appointment
  • Altering the service booked in a way that results in a shorter service duration i.e. booking a less complex or lower cost treatment.
 


If we are closed or unable to answer the phone during opening hours, please send us an email ar contact@headsouthltd.co.uk within the cancellation timefreame. 

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to re-schedule. 

 

Consultations:

It is strictly necessary that if you are a new client to have a consultation before your first visit. This is important because it will enable your expert artist to develop a work plan to achieve the colour you desire.

We offer two types of consultations to help determine the best service for your needs: Face to Face and Online

Face-to-face consultations: 

  • Available from a £20 fee.
  • If you book an appointment within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 4–6 weeks), the £20 will be redeemable and deducted from the cost of your service.
  • If the appointment is booked with a forward window of 3 months or more, the consultation fee will not be redeemable, unless this timeframe is indicated as a requirement by your hair Artist. i.e. given a counterindication in your hair.
  • If no appointment is booked, the £20 is non-refundable and non-redeemable. 

 

Online Consultation:

  • Free of charge
  • You will fill out our Online Consultation Form, which will be reviewed by your Hair Artist ahead of your appointment. Based on the information provided we will advise you on the most suitable treatment or service. 
  • On the day of your appointment your Hair Artist will conduct a final 10 min consultation to confirm all details and agree the right service for you. 

Satisfaction and Warranty:

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your hair result, we offer a 7-day guarantee. You must notify us within 7 days via email about the issue.

If you have any concerns: 

  • Please notify us by email within 7 days of your appointment. 
  • Include a description of the issue and add photos of your hair.
  • Once we have reviewed your case, we will aim to arrange a follow-up appointment within 48 hours to assess the issue.
  • If deemed appropriate, we will carry out a correction at no extra cost. 
  • The correction must take place within 14 days of your initial appointment

Please note: 

  • If you contact the salon after the 7-day period, we will be unable to offer a correction and your warranty will no longer apply.
  • The guarantee is also void if another salon has attempted to apply colour or treatments to your hair after your original appointment with us.
 

We continually strive to manage expectations of what is achievable. Not all colours are achievable in one session; it can take several sessions to achieve your ultimate hair result. In any case, our artist will always explain the required process that you will follow. We do this with all our clients, and the process/working plan may vary on a case-by-case basis.  

Gift Cards:

  • All Gift Card purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 
  • Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. 
  • Expired gift cards cannot be redeemed or extended
  • Please treat your gift card like cash; lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced
