If you’re unable to visit us in person, you can opt for our online consultation form. You’ll be asked to provide a few key details about your hair, preferences and goals. Our expert team will review your information and recommend the most suitable service based on your needs.
On the day of your appointment, your stylist will conduct a final face-to-face consultation (around 10 minutes) to confirm the plan and ensure everything aligns with your vision.
Yes, a patch test is required if you haven’t had a professional colour done in the last 6 months. This is a safety measure to prevent any allergic reactions to the colour products we use.
The process is simple:
We will apply a small dot of the colour behind your ear- quick, painless and takes just a minute.
This must be done at least 48 hours before your colour appointment. You’re welcome to pop into the salon anytime during opening hours and one of our team members will assist you with the patch test—no need to book in advance.
We require a £50 booking fee to secure all appointments. This helps us minimise the impact of last-minute cancellations or rescheduling on both the salon and your hairstylist’s schedule.
The fee is deductible from your final bill on the day of your appointment. It is 100% refundable as long as our cancellation policy is respected.
This policy ensures fairness and allows us to offer appointments efficiently to all clients.
A cancellation policy is in place to protect the time of our hairstylists and the business, while also being fair to other clients who may be waiting for an appointment slot.
We require a minimum of 72 hours of notice prior to the time of your appointment for all cancellations or amendments. This allows us the opportunity to fill the space without disrupting our schedule, ensuring fairness for both our team and other clients.
If you cancel, reschedule, or reduce your service within the 72-hour window, your £50 booking fee will be forfeited.

Rebooking after a cancellation will require a new deposit.
If we are closed or unable to answer the phone during opening hours, please send us an email at contact@headsouthltd.co.uk to ensure your request is logged within the cancellation timeframe.
While we’re happy to offer guide estimates via phone, email, or Instagram, please note that those are indicative estimates. An exact or final price can only be confirmed after an in-person assessment by your hair artist is done.
Our reception team is knowledgeable, but they are not hairdressers by profession and will do their best to assist you; however, they are not always able to fully evaluate the condition, length, thickness, or specific needs of your hair without seeing it in person.
Any quotes provided in advance are estimates only.
The final cost of your service may change after your hair artist has completed the in-person assessment. The in-person assessment enables your hair artists to review and evaluate your hair condition, tonality, length, strength, overall health and the different processes needed to achieve your desired look. Damaged hair with breakage or hair with a significant difference in tonality from the expected final result will require further treatments and techniques than those quoted previously.

If you’re unhappy with your results, you have 7 days from the date of your appointment to let us know.

If your concerns are agreed upon and considered appropriate or necessary, we will offer you a follow-up appointment at no extra cost to address the issue.
